Let My Life Be a Sign

Holy Spirit, whisper to me,
Breathe your life, and set me free.
Clear out the pain and all the chaff,
Never again to look back on the past.
I want to know you better and get out of sin.
For through your love, my heart you win.
Help me to be faithful, help me to love,
Help me my Father and Heavenly Dove.
That when people see me they may know,
You’ve touched my life and changed me so.
Let there be no mistake who has came in,
Who has held me close and kept me from sin.
Let my life be a sign onto this world,
That God is still God, and God is still good!

If I Was Going to Thank You

If I was going to think you,
O Lord, where would I start?
With how you freed me from my prison
Or poured your love into my heart?
How you walk with me so faithfully
Even when I stray?
Or how you teach and guide me
Through every single day?
How you brought me from despair
And set me on my feet?
Or how you purchased my salvation
And next to you made me a seat?
How every day is filled
With your love, joy and delight?
Or how when I’m in trouble
I don’t escape your sight?
How you love me through the worst of me
And bring me back on track?
Or how in your provision
There is nothing that I lack?
You listen to my troubles
My companion and my friend.
You are holy, true and righteous,
Faithful to the end!
If I was going to thank you
O Lord, where would I start??
For your gentle loving kindness
I’d give to you my heart.


If you do not know Jesus Christ as your savior and would like to, it is very easy to do – just ask Him into your life. The Word of God says that “if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.”

Below is a prayer you can pray out loud:

Dear Lord Jesus, I do believe that You are the Son of God. I humbly confess to You that I am a sinner. Thank You for giving Your life so that I could be forgiven.

I turn from my own way and, by faith, invite You to come into my life. I now receive You as my Savior and Lord.

Amen.
